MUMBAI: India is an entertainment loving country and what could get better than having entertainment on your fingertips. Well, Jio made this possible with the Jio New Year plan that provided mobile internet data for free to 100 million Indians. So, there is unlimited music and entertainment for everyone until 31 March 2017. But, post this period the same data will be provided for a minimal amount by Reliance.

Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani on Tuesday announced a new plan, ‘Jio Prime Membership. 'The plan will be applicable to 100 million existing Reliance Jio users and for the ones who will join the Jio family until 31 March 2017.

Under ‘Jio Prime Membership’ eligible subs will get a full bouquet of Jio’s media services -- Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Music, Jio Mags, Jio Xpress News – free for one full year, which is until 31 March 2018. Ambani stated that the entire entertainment package priced at Rs 10,000 per year will be made available to subscribers at a one-time annual fee of Rs 99 and at a flat fee of Rs 303 per month (which translates to about Rs 10 per day) for the first year (until 31 March 2018).
