MUMBAI: Actor, singer, composer- Himesh Reshammiya's HR Musik Limited, which started off as a music and audio production company, has ventured into film production since its inception in 2010.

The company plans to release at least three films by the end of 2016, HR Musik Limited CEO Andy Singh said. "There are plans to have our very own label company, which will be on our agenda in the coming years. Until then, we will sell the rights of the music produced by us to established label companies," he added.

Singh further stated that there is growing need to create content, but that would only happen if content creators are supported by various mediums like digital, radio and television.

The company also has plans to create music videos with Reshammiya, featuring various artists. Singh said that the videos will cater to all genres of music.

HR Musik Limited will soon be producing an international album which will feature the singer, along with many international renowned artists. The name of their first international project is 'At@ Edge'.

Speaking about independent music and artists, Singh said that because of digital media and music festivals, independent music has been largely been recognised and appreciated by the youth. There has also been keen interest with a lot of brands investing in properties catering to independent music and artists. He also added that Artist Aloud is doing a great job with showcasing and promoting independent music artists.

Singh, who is part of the jury at Artist Aloud Music Awards, said that the AAMA 2014 is an amazing property to recognise and promote independent music and artists. It is a boost to such artists to participate on platforms like Artist Aloud to showcase their talent.
