MUMBAI: Worldwide Records launches Kaarma Nation Band with their debut album 'Tere Ishq Mein'. Kaarma Nation Band comprises of Sajjad Hussain and Haider Hassan. Haider joined the band String Fellows in 1994 where
he first met Sajjad, an exceptional guitarist. They have been producing music together for almost 22 years and the band, Kaarma Nation Band, was formally organized in North Carolina with their first successful concert in the US.

Their earliest influences were the villagers singing folklore in their raw, natural voices. Their specific goal when they produce music is to breathe life into forgotten melodies from the past and to combine all of this to share with the younger generation with a contemporary feel so they can better appreciate it or it could be lost forever in the archives.

Sajjad Hussain is a highly recognized string instrument player from Lahore and has great command in playing the rubab, mandolin, and guitar. He has had the rare fortune of playing several recordings in many of the ghazals by Madam Noor Jahan, Mehdi Hasan, and also various recordings of Khan Sahib Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. His influences run deep as he happened to work personally with some of the greatest artists and music directors that the subcontinent music industry has ever produced.

Haider Hassan, on the other hand, from a very young age grew up listening to K.L. Saigol, Pankhaj Malik, Begum Akhtar, Tallat Mahmood, Shamshad Begum, Jagjit Singh, and of course Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar, thanks to his mother who is an exceptional connoisseur of music.

The album includes songs “Tere Ishq Mein” and “Tera Shukria” are modern love ballads sung by Haider Hassan and Sajjad Hussain with a qawalli feel and are attempts to preserve the strong music heritage of the subcontinent.
