Sony Music acquires the music rights to 'Namaste England'

MUMBAI: Sony Music has been entertaining the audience with some great music since 1997. Starting from the movie Ishq, the label has joined hands with many other movies like Lagaan, Guru, Jodha Akhbar, Jab Harry Met Sejal to name a few.

The label has a big announcement to make. Sony Music has acquired the music rights of Vipul Amritlal Shah's Namaste England. The film features Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra who began their Bollywood journey together with Ishaqzaade in 2012 which was also under Sony Music.

Directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and music by Manan Shah, the film traces the journey of two young individuals from Punjab to England. This hugely anticipated project promises great music and the association of Sony Music will definitely get the music dominating all charts.

Apart from this, this year the label has released two movies Welcome To New York and Dil Junglee. Diljit Dosanjh starrer Soorma is also on the list along with Namaste England which is soon to be released.

The music of the same is composed and directed by the multi-talented Manan Shah and the songs have a great melody. We are confident this will be a smashing soundtrack.”

I wanted a partner who can nurture the music with the tenderness it needs. This is my first collaboration with Sony Music but I am sure this is not the last. Many more to come.”

Vipul Amritlal Shah's Namaste England is all set to hit the cinemas this Dusshera.
