Arjun Kanungo is Universal Music Group's exclusive artiste

MUMBAI: The famous popstar Arjun Kanungo who recently gave a hit Aaya Na Tu in collaboration with Momina Mustehsan, has been exclusively singed as a singer and composer to Universal Music Group (UMG).He will release all his new music under UMG’s `non-film’ in collaboration with acclaimed director Mohit Suri.

A classically trained singer, Arjun's is first commercial success came with Khoon Choos Le in the 2013 film Go Goa Gone, starring Saif Ali Khan, which topped all major charts. Since then he has come out with six hit singles in 3 years- Baaki Baatein Peene Baad ft. Badshah, Fursat, and Ek Dafaa Chinnama. His Tamil Debut came with Sirrikadhey, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, from the film Remo.

Arjun’s singles like Gallan Tipsiyaan, La La La with Neha Kakkar and Aaya Na Tu have received massive appreciation on the digital platforms. On Youtube, la La La has crossed 77 million views.  

Arjun has now become one of India’s most recognizable pop stars with over 380 Million+ audio / video streams online. He has gained immense popularity and built his fan base across the country. Arjun won the GIMA Award for best debut in 2015. He was featured in Times of India's 100 most desirable men in 2016 at No. 31 beating huge names like Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor.
