MUMBAI: Bollywood's famous lyricist cum composer Vayu is known for his popular work in Banno Tera Swagger has now collaborated with Sony Music India.

On this collaboration, Vayu explains, “Being in the industry for over about ten years and having worked on several Bollywood films, I realized that I needed to be taken care of. So, I met the leaders in the space, who have released independent singles as well as worked for Bollywood films and Sony Music. After multiple meetings with them, I am now a part of their family to become an exclusive Sony Music artist, wherein the able team will present my work for anyone/everyone, who wants to work with me.”

He continues sharing his excitement, “I am extremely thrilled. There is a lot of work, I want to do with different artists and contribute as much as I can.”

Vayu had a lot to share about his first meeting with the Sony Music Head. He exclaimed, “When I met with Sony Music India Head of Pop Rohan Jha and the team, we immediately clicked and he understood my vision. To test the waters, I penned down the lyrics for their extremely talented artist Akasa’s pop debut single and had a great experience. I was given all the liberty and, thankfully, it did extremely well for the label as well as for Akasa. I really appreciated the respect the label has for artists and that is what convinced me to associate exclusively with them.”

With this collaboration, we can anticipate more exciting collaborations of Vayu with some talented artists from the industry.
