MUMBAI: Sony Music Entertainment’s division, Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings released a special music video for Bruce Springsteen's I'll Stand By You. They have combined song lyrics and clips from Blinded by the Light for the same.

I'll Stand By You has developed mythic status among Springsteen fans and collectors since the first rumors of its existence.

“I'll Stand By You is a song that I wrote for my eldest son, it was a big ballad that was very uncharacteristic of something I’d sing myself. But it was something that I thought would have fit lovely,” said Springsteen in a 2016 interview with BBC2.

Turns out, Blinded by the Light is the perfect movie fit for I'll Stand By You.

Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings had earlier released Blinded By The Light: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (digital and CD configurations) on Friday, 9 August.

A breakout smash at this year's Sundance Film Festival, Blinded by the Light has been hailed by critics as ‘a delirious and romantic rock 'n' roll parable…[an] incandescent ode to the life force of pop music’ (Variety) and ‘pure, ingenious joy’ (Entertainment Weekly).
