MUMBAI: Sony Music Entertainment India, today, announced the addition of talented artists to their roster in the form of the dynamic composer duo Sachin-Jigar.

Speaking on how they believe this deal will expand their horizons, Sachin exclaimed, “We are very excited to be working with Sony Music as we share a common vision. Non-film music has always been on our mind and we hope music fans enjoy this as much as our film songs.”

To this, Jigar added, “We have a fun pop line-up and we are sure music lovers will have some great music to look out for. The first single is a romantic track composed by us and sung by me. We are looking forward to releasing the same soon.”

Under the terms of this exclusive music recording and management deal, Sachin and Jigar will release new music as a duo and solo artists as well.

The duo has rendered music for 5000 plus TV episodes, 100-odd jingles. Sachin-Jigar is also the name behind successful film soundtracks like F.A.L.T.U., Finding Fanny, Badlapur, Stree, Arjun Patiala, and the upcoming Street Dancer, will get a chance to soar and spread their wings in a pop/non-film music space with Sony Music.

Sony Music India Pop and Promotions director Rohan Jha felt that Sachin-Jigar is a complete package.

“Even with so many chartbusters to their credit already and a solid and enviable credibility in Bollywood, their passion and excitement for their foray into non-film music is inspiring. We share a common vision for Sachin-Jigar as pop stars, and we are really looking forward to their new music,” elaborated Jha.
