Sony Music acquires music for multi-starrer film 'Finding Fanny'

MUMBAI: Sony Music Entertainment has landed the music rights to yet another highly anticipated film- Homi Adajania's 'Finding Fanny'. The music for the film has been composed by guitarist and music director Mathias Duplessy, who has also composed music for a number of other films including 'Peepli Live', 'Delhi in a Day', 'Ze Film' and 'Bombay Summer Fakir of Venice'.

Commenting on the film, Sony Music Marketing Director Sanujeet Bujabal said, "We are proud to be associated with Maddock films and Fox Star Studios for one of the most promising movies of 2014. Mathias Duplessy, who has composed the title song 'Fanny Re' is highly creative and experimental with his compositions that suitably matches with the theme of the movie."

The soundtrack also features music composer duo Sachin Jigar, who have composed a dance track for the film.

'Finding Fanny' is a comical story that revolves around a group of oddballs who take a road trip in order to find a certain person called "Fanny". It is set in Goa and features a number of Bollywood's big names including Nasserudin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor.Music for the film will be released digitally on 11 August, while the film will hit theatres a little later on 12 September 2014.
