Universal Music UK strikes partnership with Sony DADC UK

MUMBAI: Sony DADC UK has partnered with Universal Music UK on a multi-year Pick, Pack and Ship service contract, which will go live in 2015. With this agreement, Universal UK will take advantage of the innovative supply chain services provided by Sony DADC’s UK Distribution Centre which is located at Enfield.

This will include physical Pick-Pack-Ship for both, disc and non disc B2B solutions, all over the UK and Ireland.

Addressing the partnership in a statement, Universal Music UK COO, David Sharpe said, "Sony DADC has best-in-class infrastructure in the UK which we will take full advantage of to continue to provide the highest quality of service to our customers."

Sony DADC UK, general manager distribution Natasha Tyrrell said, "It is fantastic to have won this contract with such a prestigious recording company and we look forward to a successful partnership with them. Earlier this year, the Institute of Credit Management presented Sony DADC UK with the ‘Best Use of Technology’ award. In addition to this, the Enfield team won the ‘Team of the Year 2013’ award.
