MUMBAI: For the month of July 2015, Indian music label, Tips, will be working directly with radio stations to license its vast musical catalog. With this partnership, the music label not only intends to work closely with radio stations, but also create innovate programming with their content.

Tips Music, chairman and MD Kumar Taurani said, “We’ve always worked closely with radio stations in promoting our content so it made sense that we now take up the licensing deals as well.”

In 2014, Tips Music produced the Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer ‘Entertainment’. This year, the music label is also producing a Punjabi film starring the superstar singer, Gippy Grewal. The music label has acquired rights for the film ‘Loveshuda’ which features Girish Kumar. Directed by Vaibhav Misra, ‘LoveShuda’s’ soundtrack has been composed by Mithoon and Parichay. The music label has also acquired music for Sanjay Suri and Onir's film ‘Shab’. The music of the film is composed by Mithoon.

The label has a catalogue of over 25,000 hit songs, across more than a dozen languages, including Hindi, Punjabi, Marathi, Telugu, Bengali and many others.
