MUMBAI: After working with Turner International India for ten years, Troy Lobo has moved on to join RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group-owned music label, Saregama. In his new role, he will oversee the overall marketing and sales of the label.

On the appointment, Saregama MD Vikram Mehra commented, “We are very pleased to have Troy head our Marketing and Sales function across all verticals at Saregama. His vast experience in telecom and television sector will further strengthen to build Saregama an end-to-end music and entertainment company of tomorrow.”

Lobo has over two decades of experience in sales and affiliated marketing. In the past, he has worked with HMV (Now Saregama), DHL Worldwide Express, Hutchison Max Telecom & Turner International India Pvt. Ltd. As Executive Director - South Asia at Turner he was responsible for networks and content distribution.

Recently, the label also hired Rajesh Beri and Siddharth Anand, two senior creative people with an aim to strengthen the company’s television content management team. Mehra also added that most of the key positions have been filled with many senior executives and experts, and now, the company will function in full strength.
