MUMBAI: The association with the Viacom 18 organisation ends for Senior Vice President & Business Head, Jaideep Singh, after ten successful years, the company announced through a press statement today. Saugato Bhowmick will replace Jaideep Singh as the new Head of the Integrated Network Solutions.

Singh had joined Viacom 18 in 2006, and the decade-long evolution in the organisation will finally come to an end in a couple of months. Speaking to radioandmusic.com, Singh confirmed the latest development involving the plan to move on.

Singh said, "I have had ten great years at Viacom. We created IPs and projects that have set examples in the country. As a professional, the time has come for me to move on. For the past three-and-a-half years, I have worked strongly towards the live scene."

An ex-army Major, Singh has contributed to the entertainment business through various forms. The former Group Manager of Radio Mirchi, Jaideep Singh, did not disclose the future plans, however, confirmed about several offers and opportunities that he would be considering. "I have worked in various sectors. In the marketing, then as a manger, and lately actively in the music industry, so I cannot tell where I am going next, but the role would be more entrepreneurial in nature. It's a natural progress as a professional."

Along with his new role, Saugato Biswas will continue to head the Consumer Products business line at Viacom18.
