Sunburn arena with DJ Snake becomes the biggest Summer Music event in India

MUMBAI: The first arena tour of 2019 of the 12th edition of India’s leading dance music brand Sunburn presented by Kingfisher ultra experience set yet another benchmark with a record-breaking event yesterday. The grand spectacle of color, Holi was ushered in by the French producer, DJ Snake at MMRDA Grounds, BKC amidst a crowd of over 20,000 excited fans making it India’s first ever biggest Holi event. Leading Bollywood personalities such as Gauri Khan, Norah Fatehi, and Jacqueline Fernandez were spotted letting their hair down backstage. Earlier in the week the 32 -year-old Parisian met with Badshah, Parineeti Chopra and Karan Johar before his public performance.

The gig was an experience laden with banging performances by Ananya Birla, Mercer, Omen, Ali Merchant, Aman Nagpal and many more with unbelievable energy, eye-popping pyrotechnics, spectacular dance acts, edgy visuals and epic beats; marking Kingfisher’s consistent efforts to elevate the music experience for enthusiasts.

Born William Grigahcine, DJ Snake has always loved his time in India. Earlier, he shot the video of popular song, Lean On with Major Laser and later Magenta Riddim. And this arena showcase marks his sixth visit. Last year his presence in the electronic sphere saw a global number one on Spotify and YouTube for over eight weeks, evidenced in a Spotify milestone where he became one of only four artists in the world with two songs on Spotify to pass the billion stream mark and graced the cover of Billboard. His singles Magenta Riddim and Taki Taki also became two of the largest international records of the year.
