MUMBAI: The second edition of Vans New Wave Musicfest 2015 will kick start much before the actual music festival, and will give fans across the country a taste of the music that will be on display. A pre-gig tour has been announced, and it will kick off from 26th November 2015 until 13th December 2015.

Covering seven cities, the tour will start in Mumbai’s 3 Wise Monkeys and will end at Indigo, Bengaluru with performances by some of the freshest indie acts, ranging from hip-hop to punk to electronic acts. The pre gig will also feature performances by Mumbai based Hip Hop act- Mumbai’s Finest, electro pop act- Laxmi Bomb, electronic post-punk- Sky Rabbit, Chennai based- The Broadway Addicts, and Sapta with the Burning Deck, amongst others. Some of the acts will also be a part of the main Vans New Wave Musicfest 2015.

The pre gig tour has been aimed at creating the right buzz for the main event and will offer fans a chance to buy tickets for the main event at a lower rate than early bird tickets, which are expected to roll out from 1st December. Entry at the pre-gig venues will be free, apart from the event in Chennai.

Vans New Wave Musicfest 2015 will be held in Bengaluru from 25th to 27th December 2015.
