Out and Loud, two day music festival to be held in Kashid, Maharashtra

MUMBAI: The first edition of 'Out and Loud', a brand new festival will be held on 27th and 28th December 2014 at Kashid near Maharashtra. Organised by Lets Camp Out, the festival will see performances by Gaurav Jagwani and Vivaan Kapoor. The two-day event is being curated by Lets Camp Out and Shreya Naik, a renowned Mumbai based artiste manager and owner of Dream Makers Entertainment.

"We had been ideating about this festival for a long time. The only thing we had to do was take some time out of our busy schedules and sit down for a cup of coffee with Shreya to zero down on the plan of action," said Lets Camp Out, ceo and founder, Amit Jambodkar.

"The intention of coming up with an event like this was that most of the festivals or events this season are usually somewhere at far off destinations, and the duration is longer. Whilst ours is just on the weekend, so people can leave on Friday night or Saturday morning and go back on Sunday," he further added.

According to Shreya Naik, the pricing and duration are the USP of the festival. Elaborating further on the same Naik said, "Most of the festivals this season are expensive; ours compared to other events, is affordable. So I think price and duration are our USP." This is the first year of the festival and depending on the response, they will decide on the frequency of the event.

The campsite will also have Secret Santa art installations by Artsy Fartsy & Co for campers to participate and exchange good wishes. Along with music, there will also be fun activities like a Jenga Championship. Camping will start at 4 p.m. on 27 December and will end at 10 a.m. on 28 December, and tickets are price at Rs 3,500/- per person.
