MUMBAI: Popular music streaming and downloading service Gaana featured the music album of upcoming movie 'Kismath' on Gaana.com's Facebook page for the first time.

The songs of the upcoming movie 'Kismath' have been garnering tremendous positive responses ever since they were released. The music album has now received a coveted recognition by getting featured on the country's leading music streaming and downloading service, Gaana.com's Facebook page. This is the first time a Malayalam album is receiving such an acknowledgment from the popular online music portal, marking a milestone in the Malayalam film industry that its music is now crossing languages and being enjoyed by not just Malayalees alone. The Facebook post by Gaana.com has collected more than 1000 likes in less than 24 hours of its publishing.

Featuring seven tracks composed by Sumesh Parameswar, Shamej Sreedhar and Sushin Shyam, the lyrics are penned by Mahakavi Moinkutty Vaidyar, Anwar Ali and Rafeeq Ahammed.

'Kismath' is a romantic movie based on a true event during the period of 2011 at Ponnani. The story revolves around the relationship between a 23 year old Muslim boy, Irfan and a 28 year old Dalit girl, Anitha. Written and directed by debutant Shanavas K. Bavakutty, the film is scheduled to release on July 29th.
