Streamin' Music Group will provide producers a platform to showcase their music: Founder Keshav Bhardwaj

Streamin' Music Group (SMG), a record label founded by Keshav Bhardwaj (Klipr) in 2018 in Rotterdam, Netherlands has been officially launched in India in order to give Indian artists the chance to showcase their music to the world simultaneously working with various artists globally. Recently

Streamin music group are inviting artists, producers to share their demo to give them a platform, through which they can showcase their music to the world. Streamin Music Group feels that this is the right time to start inviting producers for demo submission as they would like to give them a chance to release their music and also expand their artist roster and music catalogue.

The producers have the freedom to make music across any genre in the dance music spectrum,  after the demo is submitted the A&R team listens to the demo, and if they feel that it fits their record label, they get in touch with the artist and continue with the formalities from there.

To get more insights about this new initiative we spoke to Keshav Bhardwaj aka Klipr, Founder.

Check the interview below.

What was the idea behind introducing a demo submission platform on your record label?

I started Streamin’ Music Group to give myself and my fellow producers a platform, through which they can showcase their music to the world. And I felt that this was the right time to start inviting producers for demo submission as we would like to give them a chance to release their music and also expand our artist roster and music catalogue.

Are you specifically looking for Indian producers ?

Any producer is welcome to submit their demo to us, regardless of the country they reside in.

What genre of music are you looking for?

The producers have the freedom to make music across the dance music spectrum, so nothing specific. But we would encourage the producers to send us their original work.

Are you looking for fresh talent, or producers with past releases can also send you their demos?

We are open to both, fresh talent and producers with past releases.

How can producers send you their demos?

Producers can send us their demo using our demo submission form which is available on streaminmusicgroup.com.

What is the process like after a producer submits their demo to you?

Our A&R team listens to the demo, and if we like the song and feel that it fits our record label, we get in touch with the artist and continue with the formalities from there.

Is there a specific number of producers you are looking for?

Not exactly. As long as we keep receiving demos and feel that the songs sit well with the label’s previous releases, we would love to release new music and sign new artists.

Is there a limit to how many demos one producer can submit?

There is no limit to the number of demos submitted by one artist. However we would recommend the artists to not submit the same song more than once and also wait for atleast a week before sending us a new track.
