9X Jhakaas gears up for Mahaganpati Special

MUMBAI: 9X Jhakaas, India's first Marathi music channel is all geared up to welcome Lord Ganesha with a grand line-up of unique on air and on ground initiatives. Starting 5th September 2016 to 15 September 2016 the 9X Jhakaas Mahaganpati celebrations include popular Marathi celebrities sharing their favourite Ganesh memories and special musical band featuring Ganesh songs and the popular Ganesh Aaarti at Lalbaugchya Raja every day on 9X Jhakaas.

Jhakaas Mahaganpati will be hosted by Siddarth Menon the popular actor from ‘Poshter Girl’, ‘Happy Journey’ and ‘Jara Hatke’. The show will also feature popular celebrities like Santosh Juvekar Kushal Badrike, Adarsh Shinde, Swapnil Bandodkar Sachit Patil, Shashank Ketkar, Parn Pethe, Amol Parchure, Sarang Sathye, Gandhar Sangoram, Kamlesh Bhadkamkar, Salil Kulkarni, Vijay Kadam and Vijay Patkar.

Speaking of the special programming line-up, 9X Jhakaas Programming Head, Mr Ashwinikumar Patil said “Besides the very popular Lalbaugchya Raja Aarti this year we will offer our viewers a grand celebrity-studded Mahhaganpati. Jhakaas Mahaganpati special will showcase popular Marathi celebrities sharing their favourite Ganesh memories, Interviews and fun games. These 10 episodes will feature popular celebrities Swwapnil Joshi, Amruta Khanvilkar, Bharat Jadhav, Siddarth Jadhav, Vandana Gupte, Gauri nalvade, Kedar Shinde and many others. We hope that all the Lord Ganesha followers have a Jhakaas Mahaganpati and keep showering 9X Jhakaas with all their love and appreciation.”

9X Jhakaas has also designed a special personalised game Kara Aaplya Durgunache Visarjan to engage with the Ganesh followers and 9X Jhakaas viewers on-ground across select malls in Mumbai and Thane. Developed in association with I-XL Technologies this game urges fans to kill the bad habit monster in the game and then strive to give up that bad habit in their real life. This engagement will be hosted at Oberoi mall in Goregaon and Korum mall in Thane all through the day from 3 to 5 September 2016.

The channel Mahaganpati celebrations will also include a one-hour special music band featuring Ganesh songs on Bhaktinaad and the popular Lalbaugchya Raja Aarti during the 10 days celebration of Ganesh festival. The special aarti will be telecasted at 3pm, 7pm and 7am and Bhaktinaad daily at 7am starting 5 September 2016.

The channel will promote Jhakaas Mahahanpati initiatives through social media and digital platforms through celebrity videos and posts.
