MUMBAI: International Music Channel 9XO has launched a weekly programming block titled ‘9XO College TV’, dedicated to college students. ‘9XO College TV’ will be a weekly programme showcasing all the happenings across the coolest colleges in India. Featuring the best college festivals to the best college hangouts and fashion, 9XO College TV will air every Saturday at 3 pm, starting 21 January 2017.

‘9XO College TV’ will air song requests from students and provide the students a dedicated platform to showcase their talent.

Commenting on the new show 9XO VP programming Clyde D’Souza said, “We have always created shows keeping our teen and youth audience in mind; whether it’s the countdown show 9XO Tweetdown or the app based music-match show 9XO Hook. With ‘9XO College TV’ we want to give Indian youth a platform to showcase their talent as well as request their favourite songs. This show is dedicated to the stars of tomorrow who showcase their talents at their college festivals.”

‘9XO College TV’ will be promoted across social media and digital platforms. College students can send in their request and talent via 9XO Facebook page, Instagram, Twitter or just mail at collegetv@9xo.in.
