MUMBAI: Known for its path-breaking content, ZEE Entertainment Enterprise Limited’s number one Bhojpuri Channel, Big Ganga went out of its way to add joy in the life of Ankit Babua, a contestant on the highly-watched musical show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs. The popular regional channel surprised the contestant and his family members by gifting them a television set, making this year even special for him.  

Hailing from Aara, Bihar, Ankit Babua belongs to a family that struggles to make ends meet. During one of the episodes, the channel got to know about his fondness for television and how he has been going to nearby houses to watch his favourite programs.  As a special and extremely heart-warming gesture, the channel decided to gift him the television set by turning up at his door and capturing the moment.

Speaking about this compassionate gesture, Big Ganga spokesperson said, “It is indeed our pleasure that we could add a bit of happiness to the life of Ankit and his family. In the region, where no platform has been launched for kids to showcase their singing talent in years, BIG Ganga broke the norm by offering one of the biggest singing platforms for the upcoming and deserving talent. The show is hosted by none other than the popular actor and television personality Ravi Kishan.

Contestants which made to the top four list in the show are Nitesh Rana -Balia, UP, Tusha Banku - Gonda, UP, Suraj Kumar- Chunar, UP and Bullet Baba, Buxar, Bihar. The long wait for viewers is going to end soon when the region will get its singing star and viewers can watch their favourite contestants perform one last time at the grand finale of the show at on 26 and 27 January 2019 at 7:00 pm on Big Ganga.

Renowned lyrics writer, music director and film director from Bihar- Vinay Bihari along with Megha Sriram Dalton, the folk singer and Coke Studio Artist and Aishwarya Nigam, Bollywood playback singer and winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2006 are judging the contestants in the show.
