Sony Mix to come up with another short format programme 'Jam Room'

MUMBAI: Music channel Sony Mix, which is popular for its short format programmes like 'Music Room' and 'Mix Solo', will soon be unveiling a brand new programme called ‘Jam Room’. The show is expected to be released towards the end of March 2015, or in the first week of April.

The show will feature various artistes who will be singing covers of retro songs. Jonita Gandhi, Shriram Iyer and Bhavya Pandit, are among the artists who have already shot for the show, and have also posted a few pictures of the shoot.

‘Kaha Hu Main’ singer Jonita Gandhi took to her Facebook and confirmed the details about the same through a post which said, “Happy to be back at home after a long day of shooting for a fun new project! Can't wait for you to see and hear it! Coming Soon!”

‘Indian Idol’ participant Shriram Iyer also took to his Facebook page and confirmed the news. “Jam Room Sony mix coming soon,” he posted. Along with this he even posted a few pictures of the shoot.

In a recent interview with Radioandmusic.com, Sony Mix business head Neeraj Vyas confirmed that the channel was working on a couple of short format programmes that would be about six to eight episodes. He also revealed that ‘Music Room’ and ‘Mix Solos’ would be given a brand new look.
