Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne to feature in new series by AIR, BBC and ABC

NEW DELHI: A new 24-part series titled ‘Stumped’ co-produced by All India Radio in association with the British Broadcasting Corporation and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation will be aired weekly on AIR’s FM Rainbow network every Saturday from tomorrow at 11.30 a.m.

Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne will feature in the opening episode.

It will also be broadcast by the general overseas service of external services division of AIR every Saturday, details of which would be available on its Facebook page of All India Radio’s world service.

The live streaming of this programme on AIR’s mobile app can also be enjoyed by cricket lovers on their mobiles.

‘Stumped’ is intended to be a weekly guide for international cricket followers and would up-to-date the listeners with major issues and stories in the cricketing world.

The programme will be irreverent, energetic and humorous with a lively debate between three noted sports presenters – Charu Sharma on behalf of AIR, along with Alison Mitchell of BBC and Jim Maxwell of ABC.
