New Delhi: Information & Broadcasting Secretary Sunil Arora has said "All India Radio is an iconic institution with well settled standard operating procedures".

Arora, who visited the Mumbai station of All India Radio and interacted with the personnel,said the recently launched Music App of AIR had been widely appreciated and said that even noted Music Director A R Rehman had spoken good about it.

Speaking about programme and marketing promotion, Arora asked the Commercial Wing of AIR to adopt innovative marketing strategies and explore new clients to shore up revenues.

Arora was on a day’s visit to the western metropolis during which he also held a review meeting about the Film Museum coming up in the Films Division premises.
