NEW DELHI: All India Radio, which has set up a stall at the ongoing India International Trade Fair (IITF) of India, has been inundated by suggestions to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his next Mann Ki Baat on 26 November.

The stall, which has been set up to showcase the various initiatives of AIR and its future initiatives, has provided a facility to visitors to write their suggestions to Modi which are then put into a box at the stall.

According to an AIR spokesperson, the stall has seen heavy footfall since the Fair opened with visitors expressing renewed interest in AIR.

The initiatives to place medium wave channels like Vividh Bharati on FM have awakened new interest in the public service broadcaster’s audio medium.

AIR has also commenced simultaneous digital transmission through the Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM).

Meanwhile, apart from the box at the stall, those wishing to send messages to Modi can do so through the Narendra Modi app, or mygov.in.

The Mann Ki Baat broadcast will be at 11 am on 26 November and will be immediately followed by regional language and English translations. This will be repeated in the evening. All the main channels of AIR including its FM channels will also transmit the broadcast simultaneously.

It will also be simulcast by Doordarshan on its National, Urdu, and DD Bharati. This will also be followed by regional language and English translations and these will be repeated at 8 pm.
