MUMBAI: Club FM, the radio venture of the Mathrubhumi Group, won five awards and three Finalist Certificates at the tenth edition of the Pepper creative Awards 2016, organised by the Advertising Club Cochin to honour the best talent in radio advertising in south India.

Club FM won awards in five categories including three Golds under Radio Craft-Voice Performance (Ithenthu Koothu Sparkler), Radio- In house Program Promotion- (World Mosquito Day) and Radio Craft- CSR and two Bronze Awards for In house Program Promotion – (Women’s Day and Children’s Day). In addition, the radio station also bagged three Finalist Award Certificates for Radio Craft- CSR (Right to Vote), Radio-In house Program Promotion – (World Health Day), and Radio-In house Program Promotion – (Republic Day).

Speaking on the achievement, Director-Electronic and Media, Mathrubhumi Printing & Publishing M V Shreyamskumar said, “This is a remarkable achievement for our company and the credit goes to all our listeners and radio team who have been creative and innovative in their approach and went in sync with the listeners. We hope to get more acclaimed recognition in the years to come.”

Club Fm made its way out of 750 entries from 60 agencies across South India under 110 categories judged during current edition of Pepper Awards. The jury members for Pepper 2016 were Chairman and CCO, BBDO India, Josy Paul, NCD Ogilvy and Mather India, Rajiv Rao, CCO, Lowe Lintas India, Arun Iyer and Founder & CCO, Sideways Consulting, Abhijit Avasthi.
