Big FM becomes official radio partner for Pro Wrestling League

MUMBAI: Radio network- Big FM has been announced as the exclusive radio partner for the Pro Wrestling League- Khel Fauladi which is scheduled to start from 10th December 2015.

The radio network will promote the league with spots airing from 3rd to 27th December, which will be the event’s grand finale. Additionally, the station will also share live updates with listeners on match days during evening shows.

In terms of reach, Big FM has a presence across 45 cities, 1200 towns and 50,000+ villages and a weekly reach of 4.2 crore people across the country.

In a statement, Reliance Broadcast Network Limited CEO Tarun Katial commented, “At Big FM, our mission is to reach, engage and enrich the lives of India's vast populace. Our new venture with Pro Wrestling League is another challenging opportunity that we look forward to. Our RJs will work towards bringing the action live from the venue by giving a peak into the lives of wrestlers.”

Speaking on the collaboration, ProSportify director Vishal Gurnani said, “The Pro Wrestling League is here to change the face of sports broadcasting in India. We are extremely proud to announce our association with Big FM which is India’s largest private FM network and look forward to enthralling its listeners with captivating content around the first edition of PWL.”

Revealing a little more about the deal with Big FM, Gurnani said that the partnership with the radio network has been signed for the inaugural year of Pro Wrestling League.

“The Pro Wrestling League is here to change the face of sports broadcasting in India. Big FM by far has a wide reach and with the inaugural edition, we just wanted the right partners to be on our side and make this a successful event,” he added.

Pro Wrestling League- Khel Fauladi, an initiative between ProSportify and Wrestling Federation of India, is a big leap in the history of oldest combat sport.
