MUMBAI: Radio City (Lucknow) has introduced rap segment known as 'Zaalim Rapariya' in RJ Shiv's morning show 'Morning Masala', where the RJ touches the base and rap on topics that are trending both at national and local level with a pinch of humour.

RJ Shiv explained the reason behind choosing the rap segment,"This is basically a Badshah style rap song, named 'Zaalim Rapariya', a musical segment that covers trending topics with light humour. It also has bytes of the celebs in between to make it sound better."

"As Radio City believes in constant innovation, we came up with what our listeners like and expect. As Badshah is a rage these days, raps are also in and people like to groove to the songs and raps. We decided to give our listeners a Rap treat by adding a little humor along with a musical production and this has garnered an amazing response," added Shiv.

Morning Masala was a show launched last year in the month of November which also included an interesting segment 'Chai pe Charcha' where Shiv discussed various issues of the city and reached the concerned authorities to find a solution.
