Tadka completes decade of existence

MUMBAI: Rajasthan Patrika's radio venture FM Tadka clocked 10 years of presence - a total of 3653 days - in the radio sector on Independence Day 2016. 

Tadka, that takes pride in sharing its birth anniversary with Independence Day,  cut a 54 feet cake as part of the celebrations. The ceremony took place in MGF Metropolitan Mall, Jaipur.

Tadka, through their festivity, granted the listeners 'Music Freedom', which means the listeners are free to listen to music on their demand. The radio station played music request the whole day live from the celebration venue. 

Other activities included were classical and western performances, game shows and other fun activities.

FM Tadka Programming Head Praveen Sharma said, "Although completing a decade is not a long time but we at Tadka, try to do things in style. Therefore we called it as 'Tadka completed 3653 days'. We wanted to try people give back the love they have given us so far."

"The cake was the highlight of the entire celebration as it was 54 feet long and before cake cutting, we took signatures of all the people present on cream cones which were added to the cake," added Sharma.
