HT Media winds up Phase III launches with Fever's entry into Aligarh today

MUMBAI: Following the recent launch of Fever FM in Allahabad and Bareilly, the radio network heads towards its final launch in phase III in Aligarh city today on 15 September.

After winning 10 frequencies in Phase-III FM e-auctions, HT Media’s Fever FM has swiftly moved to cover all the frequencies. Fever FM has launched FM stations in eight cities that include Hyderabad and seven cities in UP.

The frequencies for the Hyderabad and UP stations are as follows:

Hyderabad: 94.3 FM

Lucknow: 104 FM

Kanpur: 95 FM

Agra: 93.7 FM

Aligarh: 94.9 FM

Allahabad: 94.3 FM

Gorakhpur: 94.3 FM

The other two frequencies, which were acquired by HT Media was for its second radio launch 'Radio Nasha' in Mumbai (91.9 FM) and Delhi (107.2 FM).

In UP, Fever FM has positioned itself as ‘Maha Radio’ promising to offer differentiated programming and music in sync with the needs of the listeners including contemporary hits plus best of retro.

Following its successful operations in Bengaluru with dominant listenership scores, Fever’s strategy has been to expand in South India.

The launch of Fever 94.3 FM in Hyderabad comes on the back of an internal research indicating that the city has a promising base of lovers of Bollywood music and movies. The Hyderabad station has been launched with the tagline ‘Baap of Bollywood’ offering a vibrant, youthful, creative and interactive programming. Fever has lined up huge excitement for listeners with a new show launch every week for the next six weeks.
