MUMBAI: After creating some interesting video content in the real environment Radio Mirchi will now go reel with RJ Naved.

The radio station will create a web series with RJ Naved for their YouTube channel that currently airs some fun videos created by its RJs.

Naved who has been grabbing eyeballs for his ongoing show Mirchi Murga will be seen as a taxi driver in Mirchi's latest offering.

He will portray a taxi driver who gets to meet people from all walks of life. His interactions with the passengers in his cab will be hilarious. The show will air an episode every fortnight.

RJ Naved who has been planning the series for over a year confirms the same and says, “I do not host a daily show anymore and that leaves me with ample time. This is why I planned to do a fiction series."

He further adds, “When you play a prank in an uncontrolled environment you do not have control over reactions. But, in a series like this you can plan it all.”

This is just the beginning of a fiction series for Radio Mirchi as they plan to do similar formats with other Mirchi RJs.

Confirming the same Radio Mirchi EVP, Head - Digital Initiatives Rahul Balyan states, “We see our RJs as content creators and all of them are creating a lot of buzzing video content across social media. Mirchi Murga with RJ Naved is one of our most popular series already online, and we will continue to build on it. So expect more interesting twists in this series."
