The 'Mumbaikars' witnessed laughter riot with Red Live

MUMBAI: Mumbai witnessed an evening full of endless laughter, stomach aches, and humour filled punches as loud and witty Zakir Khan performed live in Mumbai. The event took place on 18 November 2016 at St. Andrew’s Auditorium, St. Dominic Rd, Bandra West and was organised as part of the nine city stand-up comedy tour by Red Live, the live entertainment vertical of Red FM.

With an impeccable comic timing, sharp wit and keen insight into human nature, Zakir Khan kept rolling out punch lines that had the audiences rolling in the aisles. The stand-up comedian truly created comic mayhem in town and set the full house at St. Andrew’s Auditorium in the mood for a laughter riot. RED FM aims to bring the new wave of stand-up comedy to the masses with this never-seen-before comedy tour with rising talent- Zakir Khan. After being an epitome for mesmerizing musical evenings, Red Live is all geared up to mark stronghold into stand-up comedy with this  ‘Nine City Tour’ which aims to celebrate humor and the growing popularity of stand-up comedy as a source of utmost entertainment

Zakir Khan is an Indian stand-up comedian, writer, and presenter who rose to popularity in 2012 after winning Comedy Central's India's Best Stand-Up Comedian competition. He has also been a part of a news comedy show ‘On Air with AIB’. His comedy style was applauded in NDTV Prime's The Rising Stars of Comedy television show. A writer by profession, this 'Confused Desi' serves his take on modern India, with a hard to resist rustic humour that'll have you nodding your heads and clapping as you’ll relate to everything he says.
