Radio City launches three stations in two days

MUMBAI: The month of February turned out to be lucky for Radio City. They launched three radio stations one after another. On the occasion of Valentine's Day, Radio City 91.1 FM launched two 'love' online radio stations on its channel Planetradiocity.com.

The newly launched web stations, Radio City Premaloka in Kannada and Radio City Kaadhal in Tamil will be airing love songs all through the year featuring their respective Love Gurus.

The stations offer a perfect blend of classic and newfangled love songs featuring iconic artistes and music directors such as AR Rahman, S.P. Balasubrahmanyam, Dr. Rajkumar, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and many more prominent iconic artistes.

The next day, Radio City launched a new station in Madurai with the frequency 91.1. With this launch, Radio City now becomes a 37 network station nationally and expands its footprint in the south by adding six stations to its list i.e. Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Vizag (Vishakapatnam) and now Madurai.

The Madurai station offers its listeners entertaining, innovative and creative content that resonates with the pulse of the city. Melodious romantic music, foot thumping new songs, city happenings, humour, RJ Gautami’s filmy charm, every lover’s confidante Love Guru will be all found on this show.

Keeping in mind the stations brand ideology ‘Rag Rag Mein Daude City’ the RJ’s will share 1000 facts about Madurai city thereby invoking the feeling of city pride - Naadi nerambellam Madurai city.
