MUMBAI: As the name suggests, Friends FM Kolkata has always stood by its philosophy of connecting with the people. On this special occasion of Durga Puja, Friends FM this year has come up with some exciting on-air and on-ground activities.

The latest initiative 'Pujor Friendzy' is meant to bring back the nostalgia fun and friends adda attached with the magnanimous cultural celebrations. Durga Puja is symbolised by its sarbojonin (friendly) nature. It is only during Puja that friends and family members meet. However, true togetherness happens when they spend time with each other so 'pandal hoping' together for Puja creates a bonding that lives beyond Durga Puja.

Friends FM started its on-air campaign on 21 August, where big pandal organisers were invited to the studio to share interesting facts about the theme of the year. Also, an on-air contest was held for people to win VIP booklets to visit Kolkata’s top 91 Pujas.

What are these VIP booklets? Well, the booklet is a ticket where five people can visit 91 biggest Pujas of the city through VIP entries.

Also, the brand has associated with 20 International Pujas from across the globe. They air the puja live of Friends FM’s Facebook page.

Adding on to the festive season, Friends FM is live 24X7 to give live updates of the happenings across the city,  with over  2800  + live updates and  700+  Facebook live. The station sound has a complete flavor of puja celebrations on-air, on the ground and digital pages of the station are flooded with the client led activation that is being amplified and ideated by Friends FM.
