MUMBAI: From an array of talented RJs that are currently hosting shows on Indian FM radio, the Zurich-based International Radio Festival (IRF), together with Indiantelevision.com group's Radioandmusic.com, has hand-picked Big FM’s Siddharth to represent India at IRF 2015.

The event will take place in Zurich this August,giving RJs and DJs  across  the world, an opportunity to connect with each other. Siddharth Mishra came out on top from around 80 entries of radio jocks and radio show producers across various stations like Big FM, Red FM, Radio Mirchi, Radio City, MY FM, Suryan FM, Friends FM, Radio Indigo and Oye FM.

Just like previous editions, RJ Siddharth will bring something different to this year’s IRF. Known for his baritone voice, the RJ has been hosting Big FM Mumbai’s morning show since June 2013. According to RAM ratings, Siddharth’s show is among the top ten in Mumbai, and his retro playlist is sure to be a treat at IRF.

Winning the Sound of India @IRF 2015, means that Siddharth and his show producer Aanchal Sethi, will be flown and given accommodation in Zurich at no cost to them. This has been made possible with the support of Switzerland Tourism.

Previous winners of the Sound of India contest have been Red FM’s Malishka, Radio Mirchi’s Jeetu Raj, My FM’s Meenakshi and Radio One’s Prithvi.
