Tuned Global and LyricFind announce partnership and tech integration

MUMBAI: LyricFind, the pioneer in lyric licensing and data solutions, is integrating with Tuned Global, the leading B2B music and streaming platform, to bring LyricFind’s products to more music and media services worldwide. Tuned Global customers can now easily access LyricFind’s technology, which includes lyrics and associated data, to create better music experiences.

Lyrics boost user retention and engagement for streaming apps, a key priority for Tuned Global. Lyrics have long been top-searched terms online, and 81% of users actively seek out lyrics to better understand the words. Lyrics are also helpful data that fans can use to match songs to their mood or activity and that curators can use to deep-dive into their catalogues.

Tuned Global’s clients can enroll with LyricFind as soon as they sign on with Tuned Global, unlocking lyric-based tools through APIs or turnkey apps. They can display lyrics on their services in multiple languages and use lyrics to search their catalogue and craft new thematic playlists or other content. Also integrated into the Tuned Global platform is LyricFind’s LyricIQ, a content analysis engine that allows curators to filter lyrics and tracks by mood, subject matter, and age appropriateness, among many other parameters.

Gabb Music, a kid-friendly music service launched by Gabb Wireless, became the first DSP to benefit from combining Tuned Global and LyricFind technologies ahead of this latest integration. Tuned Global powers the delivery of a cleared music catalogue to Gabb, including LyricFind’s song IDs. Gabb then uses LyricIQ data and their own filtering system to remove inappropriate content from Gabb Music, making it the world’s safest music catalog for families and young listeners. This successful implementation shows how lyrics plus content delivery can create carefully targeted and wonderfully engaging niche music streaming experiences for underserved audiences.
