Be nature's guardian with Radio City's 'Nature hai toh Future hai'

MUMBAI: With each passing day nature is being abused, Radio City has planned an initiative titled, Nature hai toh Future hai in association with Eureka Forbes. As a part of the above effort, the network is going the distance to observe World Environment Day which falls on 5th June. Through various on-air, on-ground and digital activities Radio City intends on doing its bit for a better future!

Some of the most loved RJs of Radio City will be visiting various societies in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur to promote the idea of conservation of nature. As a part of the on-ground activities, the Radio City team will engage with residents of societies by encouraging them to clean up their societies, the Art from Waste contest, planting trees. With the number of cars going up with every minute and with it pollution touching alarmingly high levels, Radio City will be conducting PUC check-ups for the cars. All the societies that come forward in this noble cause will be duly gratified by Radio City RJ’s. They will be given a certificate of appreciation along with a glittering trophy acknowledging their effort!

While a lot goes on-ground, Radio City RJ’s will keep the listeners hooked to their words of wisdom that will invoke the thought of conservation of the environment. From facts about how we are causing the downfall of nature and its resources, to valuable tips that will help in preserving the resources! In a bid to improve the living surroundings, listeners can ring the Radio City lines during the Nature Sudhaar Lo activity, and leave a message for others to be implemented!

Connecting with the listeners on the digital front, Radio City is walking shoulder to shoulder when it comes to being socially active! For World Environment Day, listeners can also share their views and interact with Radio City RJs through the series of posts on the Facebook and Twitter pages. The posts will inform everyone regarding the minor modifications we can make to our lifestyle to have a cleaner and a better environment. There will be a fun-filled contest on twitter where listeners can simply answer the questions, give solutions and take home some exciting gifts!
