MUMBAI: In keeping up with the festivities of the New Year, and remembering the year gone by, MY FM has come up with special programming initiatives starting 29th December, 2014. The station has decided to take a trip the memory lane from highlighting top 14 incidents of the year to top 14 people who were the newsmakers to top 14 events of politics, sports, bollywood and a quick recap of the year 2014.

MY FM has undergone a creative change and come up with a lot of new initiatives. Special packaging and humor capsules on audio breath analyser test have been created which will test if listeners are drunk on music or not, a special New Year jingle has been created. The biggest surprise of the year is MY FM top 100 which is a listener handpicked & voted list of song and is being hosted by Shekhar Suman in his inimitable style. Shekhar not only discusses Bollywood but also takes up the day to day happenings which affect the common man. He is at his wittiest best and hence is a laugh riot for MY FM listeners. The show will also be followed by special EDM tracks created by DJ Electronomist for the New Year party special of MY FM.

Speaking on the occasion, MY FM national programming head Viplove Gupte said “We have carefully segregated the content for the benefit of our listeners so while the newsmakers feature in the breakfast show, the housewives time band will feature women in news and the evening time band will talk about the people who made the news for all the funny reasons. We have been extremely choosy about the content that we are presenting the entire year and hence the year ender is all about the best of the best”.
