Radio stations sing Independence Day tune

MUMBAI: As India gears up for the Independence Day, radio stations across the country also are singing different tunes to celebrate the same.

Here’s the programming line-up that major radio stations have up their sleeves:

Big FM

Big FM celebrated Independence Day at Siachen with Big ‘Paigham – Sarhad Ke Naam.’ The RJs of Big FM - Prateek, Balaji, Shruthi and Abhimanyu will host an event for the jawans. The RJs, along with the ‘Saturday Saturday’ singer Akriti Kakkar, also interacted with the jawans. What’s more Kakkar also performed peppy and soulful numbers for the jawans.

Radio City

The radio station wants listeners to be united and have asked them to host a family belonging to a community other than theirs for a dayand try to find the differences between the two.
