Radio Mirchi makes surprise move in Delhi

MUMBAI: As per the RAM data for week 36, Big FM retained its top position in Mumbai with a market share of 17.9 per cent, the same as the previous week. Fever FM dominated Delhi during week 35 as well, with a market share of 20.7 per cent, while Radio Mirchi took a big leap with a market share of 13 per cent, placing second in the capital. In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi took first place with a market share of 19 per cent. Radio City, meanwhile, held the first position with a market share of 22.6 per cent, TSL of 9.34 and TARP of 2.7 per cent.

In Bengaluru, Big FM took second spot, reporting a market share of 21.1 per cent and TSL of 8.46. Radio Mirchi came in third in the city with a market share of 17.3 per cent. In fourth place was Fever FM, which reported a market share of 13 per cent. Big FM’s show 'Big Coffee' with RJ Shruti reported a TARP of 6.8 per cent.

In Kolkata, Big FM held second position with a market share of 14.8 per cent, TSL of 5.08 and TARP of 1.2 per cent. Fever FM was placed third registering a market share of 13.5 per cent, TSL of 5.25 and TARP of 1.1 per cent. Meanwhile, Oye FM took fourth position with a market share of 11.3 per cent, TSL of 4.13 and TARP of 0.9 per cent. Radio Mirchi's 'Kaali Kotha' with RJ Jaganath reported highest TARP compared to other shows in the city.

In Delhi, Radio Mirchi moved from fourth place (week 35) to second position in week 36, surpassing Big FM and Radio City. Big FM and Radio City slipped to third and fourth positions, respectively with market shares of 12.9 percent and 12.2 per cent. Fever FM's show 'Evening drive' with Nitin reported TARP of 2 per cent.

In Mumbai, Radio City, which took second place, registered a market share of 17.2 per cent, TSL of 5.21 and TARP of 1.2 per cent. In third position was Fever FM with a market share of 14.1 per cent, while Radio Mirchi and Red FM came in fourth and fifth, reporting market shares of 13.6 and 11.8 per cent, respectively. Meanwhile, Big FM's show 'Suhana Safar' with Anu Kapoor, reported a TARP of 4 per cent.
