RAM week 51: Big FM and Fever FM continue their command in Mumbai and Delhi respectively

MUMBAI: With shares of 18.3 percent and T.S.L. of 6.16, Big FM ended at the top position for the 51st week of RAM ratings in Mumbai. Radio City improved its shares by 0.8 percent from the previous week, but couldn’t unsettle Big FM for the number 1 position. With T.S.L of 5.33 and shares of 17.8 percent, Radio City retained second position, followed by Fever FM. Shares of 15.4 percent and T.S.L. of 6.3 helped Fever FM retain their positions for the latest week’s ratings. Radio Mirchi, Red FM and Oye! FM continued improving their shares, however, couldn’t improve their positions and they retained their last week’s respective positions.

In Delhi, Fever FM continued to have the upper hand over other radio stations as the 19 percent of shares and T.S.L. of 4.51 put the station at the top spot, once again. Similarly like Mumbai, the national capital did not experience any change in the positions for the latest week. Radio Mirchi (shares- 14 percent; T.S.L. - 3.28) and Radio City (shares- 12.7 percent; T.S.L. - 3.28) retained second and third position respectively in the city, whereas Big FM (shares- 11.7 percent) and Red FM (shares- 10.4 percent) followed at fourth and fifth positions. Oye! FM improved its shares by 0.3 percent, finishing at sixth position, and although Hit FM saw a drop in shares, the FM station managed to finish at seventh position.

Kolkata showed no changes in its rankings as Radio Mirchi secured highest shares percent with 19.4. With the best T.S.L. ratings (5.19) in the city, Fever FM secured the second position, followed by Big FM that gained shares of 14.3 percent and T.S.L. of 5.02.

Radio City recorded the highest T.S.L. with 10.19, and ranked at the top spot in the city of Bengaluru with the shares of 23.2 percent. Big FM dropped in shares, from 21.6 percent to 20.5 percent, but retained the second position for the latest week. With shares of 16.2 percent and T.S.L. of 7.27, Radio Mirchi secured the third spot, followed by Fever FM (shares- 14 percent and T.S.L. of 8.44).
