BARC week 12 does not favour the music channels

MUMBAI: In week 12, of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC), all India (U+R), Channels have faced a dip in their impressions (‘000s). B4U Music has managed to push itself above Sony MIX with 135782 impressions (‘000s) in comparison to last week when it received 132922 impressions (‘000s). Music India has scaled above Zee ETC Bollywood that received a hike of 22683 impressions (‘000s) as compared last week 20788 impressions (‘000s).

Mastiii still leads the BARC chart but has scaled down with its numbers acquiring 169556 impressions (‘000s) as compared to last week’s 172276 impressions (‘000s).

Channels Mastiii, 9XM, Sony MIX, 9X Jalwa, MTV Beats, VH1, 9XO, MTV Beats HD have received a major scale down in their impressions (‘000s). Overall channels have witnessed a drop in their numbers. There are a few channels like Sony MIX, B4U Music and 9XM that are constantly juggling with their positions.
