Most radio stations hold their positions firmly in 52nd week

MUMBAI: In the 52nd week, according to the RAM report, Radio City lead in the financial capital-Mumbai with a market share of 19 per cent and a TARP of 1.3 per cent. However, in Delhi Fever FM continued to rule with a market share of 18.9 per cent, while Bengaluru and Kolkata, were ruled by Radio City and Radio Mirchi, respectively.

For seven weeks, Radio City has held the top position in Mumbai, followed by Big FM, which previously held the top spot. The retro station had 17.3 per cent market share, with a TSL of 6.01 and TARP of 1.2 per cent. Radio Mirchi maintained its third place with a market share of 14 per cent which is 0.3 per cent higher than the previous week. Fever has increased by 0.1 per cent market share and Red FM added 0.5 per cent to their market share.

In Bengaluru, Radio City topped this week as well and has added 0.5 per cent to its market share, which is 23.7 per cent. Meanwhile, Big FM maintained the second spot with a market share of 22.5 per cent, the same as last week. Radio Mirchi witnessed a decline in market share by 0.3 per cent, while Fever FM saw an increase of 0.6 per cent as compared to last week, giving it a market share of 12.2.

In Delhi, Fever FM held the highest market share of 18.9 per cent which is 0.2 per cent higher as compared to last week. This is followed by Radio Mirchi which held 16.3 per cent market share. Radio City jumped to third place with a market share of 11.9 per cent, and Big FM took the fourth position with a market share of 11.3 per cent.

Radio Mirchi held the top spot in Kolkata with 21.1 per cent market share, which is 0.3 per cent higher than last week. Big FM follows in second position in Kolkata with a market share that is 0.2 per cent higher as compared to last week.  In Kolkata, Big FM’s TSL is 5.03, while, Radio Mirchi is 4.38 per cent.
