Radio City No. 1 in Mumbai and Bengaluru; Big FM No. 2 in Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru

MUMBAI: According to RAM report for the 50th week, Radio Mirchi has climbed into second position, leaving pubcaster AIR FM2-Gold to settle for third position in Delhi. AIR FM2-Gold previously held the second position in Delhi for two weeks in a row. Meanwhile, Fever FM continues to hold the first position in Delhi with a market share of 19 per cent, TSL of 5.25 and TARP of 1.5 per cent.

In Delhi, Radio Mirchi, AIR FM2-Gold, Radio City, Big FM, Red FM, AIR FM1-Rainbow and Oye FM held 16.6 per cent, 15.1 per cent, 12.1 per cent, 11.5 per cent, 9.8 per cent, 5 per cent and 4.9 per cent market shares, respectively. Two Fever FM shows- 'Evening Drive' - RJ Nitin and 'Full on Punjabi' - RJ Avinash held the top two positions in Delhi, while the third and fourth positions were taken by Radio Mirchi's 'Hi Delhi'- RJ Rohit and 'Purani Jeans'-RJ Sayema, respectively. The other two Fever FM shows on the list of top ten shows in Delhi were 'Dilli ke Do Dabang'-Manu and Abhilash; and 'Zara Si Life'-RJ Rhicha Vyas.

However, in Mumbai, the same Big FM show- 'Suhana Safar' - Anu Kapoor in two different time slots, led the table and also placed at seventh position. Other Big FM shows that made it to the top ten shows in the city were 'Breakfast Show' - RJ Siddharth and 'Evening Show' - RJ Dilip. From holding the top spot last week, Radio City's 'Kal Bhi Aaj Bhi' - RJ Gaurav moved to second, while 'Kasa Kai Mumbai' - RJ Archana and RJ Salil went to third place. However, Radio City continued to rule Mumbai with a market share of 19.5 per cent, and was followed by Big FM, Radio Mirchi, Fever FM, Red FM, AIR FM2-Gold, AIR FM1-Rainbow and Oye FM with market shares of 18.1, 14.2, 13.1, 11.3, 10, 3.9 and 3.4 per cent, respectively.

In Kolkata, Radio Mirchi held the first position with a market share of 20.6 per cent, TSL of 4.28 and TARP of 1.6 per cent. Two Radio Mirchi shows- 'Kaali Kotha' - RJ Jaganath and 'Breakfast Show' - RJ Mir held the first two slots in the city. Big FM holds second highest market share in the city with 16.9 per cent market share and its shows - 'Breakfast Show' - RJ Khas Koushik, 'Raater Otithi' - RJ Neel, 'Chirodiner Sur' - RJ Pamela and 'Saranagato' - RJ Sumanta, held various positions in the top ten shows in the city. Apart from these, shows by Aamar FM- 'Breakfast Show' - RJ Shouvik and 'Namashkar Kolkata' - RJ Nilam, were also among the top ten shows.

Radio City ruled in Bengaluru, and it was followed by Big FM, Radio Mirchi, Fever FM, Red FM and AIR FM1-Rainbow. Radio City had a market share of 23.9 per cent with TSL of 9.35 and TARP of 2.6. Big FM's 'Big Coffee' - RJ Shruti ruled the city's top ten shows, while, Radio City's 'City Mathu' - RJ Rachna held second position. Other Radio City shows in the list included 'Shubhodhaya' - RJ Sowjanya, 'Love Guru' - RJ Love Guru and 'City Maathu' - RJ Pradeep.
