Narendra Kusnur has been a music journalist with over 38 years of experience in the print media. He covers different forms of music, and his articles have appeared in The Hindu, Mid-Day, Hindustan Times, Free Press Journal, Mint Lounge, Mumbai Mirror, Seniors Today and Rolling Stone India. He also has a blog where he reviews albums and concerts.
Kusnur has also been associated with music marketing at the record label EMI Music India and corporate training at the Reliance TimeOut chain of books and music stores. He has also acted as a consultant for streaming apps, helping them formulate playlists, and appeared as a host in online interview-based shows.
Kusnur is a recipient of the Filmgoers Award, the Music Federation Of India Artistry Award, the Suvidha Gaurav Award and the Lion's Club Award for Music Journalism.
Vivek Raina is the Managing Director for Believe India, where he brings over two decades of experience in the music business. He drives Believe's global vision by developing independent artists and labels in India and South Asia. In 2013, Vivek initiated operations for Believe India and has since established a comprehensive business that advises artists and labels on music distribution, promotion, and development through Label and Artist Solutions, Artist Services, and the DIY artist platform- TuneCore.
Prior to joining Believe, Vivek held various senior roles in digital music distribution, telecom VAS marketing, and label services.
Since 2019, Believe has expanded its services in India and currently employs a team of over 230 music industry experts across the country. As of today, Believe owns the iconic Ishtar Music (previously known as Venus) as well as renowned South Indian label- Think Music. In 2023, Believe partnered with multiple artists and labels, while also expanding their service offerings by foraying into the Bollywood OST segment and signing on notable production houses. Believe offers comprehensive Artist-Development services including marketing, promotions, and brand partnerships. Vijay Iyer has been active in the Indian music industry for almost two decades.
He has been associated with two time Academy Award winner A R Rahman for 14 years and has also been managing award winning song writer & music composer Mithoon for 10 years now besides having worked with leading organizations like Eros & Tips.
He is trained in classical music and has an ear for diverse genres of music ranging from folk, pop, indie, reggae, R & B, hip-hop and classical among others.
Presently, Vijay is giving finishing touches to his billion dollar start up idea, a dream project on music.
Chaitanya has had a multi-faceted 2-decade career in the Film & Creative Arts industry. He is currently the Vice President & Business Head at Whistling Woods International - India’s premier Film & Creative Arts institute. He also serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the institute and heads its Emerging Media initiatives. He has been instrumental in the strengthening of Film & Creative Arts education in India and the evangelising of emerging technologies both into the mainstream education at Whistling Woods and into the Film, Media & Entertainment industry at large, through setting up of Research & Development labs at the Whistling Woods campus in Mumbai. He also currently serves on the global Board of Governors of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) and was nominated by the Government of India to be on the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics (AVGC) Task Force constituted in 2022 to draft India’s National AVGC Policy. He has written several papers & articles in newspapers and other Indian & global media outlets and is an active speaker at global seminars & conferences, on the Media & Entertainment Industry, M&E Technology and Education. He is also a strategic advisor to several startups in the M&E, Technology & Education verticals.
Priya Saraiya is a Bollywood Playback Singer, Composer and Lyricist. She is professionally trained in Hindustani Classical Vocals from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya (Mumbai) and Western Music from Trinity College of London. She started learning Hindustani Classical Music at the age of 5 years.
Jeet Gannguli is a renowned music composer and singer in the Hindi and Bengali film industry. Trained in both Indian Classical and Jazz, Jeet has composed music for over 40 Hindi films and 90 Bengali films. He has composed music for solo albums, innumerable jingles, TV series, and Singles. Two of Jeet’s songs have also found a place in the International film “The Waiting City”. He is the recipient of many prestigious awards like IIFA, TOIFA, Filmfare, Radio Mirchi, Zee Cine Music, GIMA, BFJA, Zee Gaurav, Anandalok, Zee 24 Ghanta Ananya Samman, ABP Ananda Shera Bangali, Star Jalsha Entertainment Award and a number of West Bengal Govt Awards for his contribution to Hindi and Bengali film music. Jeet has been the recipient of the prestigious “Banga Bhushan” award for his outstanding contribution to music.
