Bright Telecom debuts in India with G-588

MUMBAI: Bright Telecom has launched its range of handsets in India under the name G-phone. The company has launched G-588 that can be used in two totally different modes like GSM + GSM or GSM + CDMA.

The handset has a 2.2" screen and also comes with QWERTY keypad along with applications like Nimbuzz, the one single social networking application which would help users to stay connected with their friends through Facebook, Twitter, Skype and a host of other messenger services like, G-Talk, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, etc.

It also sports a 1.3 mega pixel camera, multi-media player that allows users to play mp3, mp4 and a list of other file formats and with an additional extendable memory of up to 8 GB. Another feature of the phone is the Indian Calendar. The Indian Calendar also serves as a guiding force for the practice of various Hindu rituals & festivals.

The handset is available for Rs 4799.
