MUMBAI: Kenwood Corporation has announced the release of 12 new car entertainment systems in the Indian market in this month.

The features of the entertainment systems would include convenient connectivity for external storage on SD cards and USB memory, fast, easy music file searches, user-friendly interfaces and high-quality sound apart from others.

Our car entertainment systems combine high-quality audio-video performance with rugged dependability suited to the special needs of in-vehicle systems in terms of temperature, vibration and dust,... he further added.

Here is a lowdown of few of the selected models

DDX8036BT is a DVD Receiver with 7-inch VGA monitor that displays extra-bright, high-quality images due to white LED backlighting. The system also features Bluetooth. It boasts of easy-to-use 3D graphical interface with stereoscopic effect. It features 5.1ch surround sound with Dolby digital and DTS turns car interior into an audio theatre. The system is compatible with diverse file formats, including MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, JPEG, MPEG1/2/4, H.264 and WMV. Its removable front panel eliminates worries about theft. The system displays a multilingual menu in 18 languages for wide range of users and is available at a price of Rs 59,990.

KDC-X8016BT is the next model. It can connect with iPhone and iPod via high-speed USB direct cable, KCA-iP101. It sports an iPod-like key layout and operating menu, plus new music file-search function for enhanced compatibility with iPod and iPhone.The Disk player and USB support popular MP3, WMA and AAC formats. Large LCD screen, multilingual interface and choice of three- or five-line display. It also features 1,000 different colour schemes to coordinate screen illumination with any car interior aling with DSP advanced digital sound processor that creates dynamic in-car audio environment. It also features Bluetooth. The system is tagged at a price of Rs 19,990.

KSC-W1200T is th3 next one in the line. It sports 30cm Tube Woofer with impressive sound with max. 1200W input. Its compact 502mm length saves car trunk space and enables folding seat to be used in down position. The quick-release belt helps for easy mounting and removal. It is available at a price of Rs 6,990.
