Logitech India launches new earphones
MUMBAI: Logitech has come up with two new earphones that will be a part of the company's MetroFi lineup of Ultimate Ears earphones. The newly launched models are entitled MetroFi 170 and MetroFi 200. The BlackBerry compatible versions of these models are called MetroFi 170vi and MetroFi 200v.
The unique design of these new earphones creates a seal between the ears and the outside world. This arrangement is said to block the background noise. Both models are said to provide around 16dBs of noise isolation.

The silicon ear cushions are said to provide comfort even during longer working hours. These ear-cushions are offered in three sizes to suit the needs of varying consumers. Apart from this, the earphones are also said to provide exceptional voice quality. Both the models claim to be ideal for users who are always on the move. The models feature a titanium-coated speaker that claims to deliver crisp and clear sound. The MetroFi 200 boasts of its deeper bass and clear treble. Both the earphones are compatible with iPods, MP3 player, laptops as well as mobile devices that feature a 3.5mm jack.

The Logitech MetroFi 170 and MetroFi 200 bundle up a pocket sized carrying case that protects the headsets while traveling. The BlackBerry compatible models come embedded with a miniature high-performance microphone. This microphone enables users to switch between making calls and enjoying music.
The Logitech MetroFi 170 and MetroFi 200 as well as the BlackBerry compatible versions of the earphones will be made available with a one year warranty. The MetroFi 170 and the MetroFi 170vi will cost Rs. 3,495 and Rs. 3,995 while MetroFi 200 and MetroFi 200v will retail for Rs. 5.495 and Rs. 6,495, respectively.
