MUMBAI: Samsung has launched two new touch screen mobile handsets in the Indian market namely, Samsung Champ and the Samsung Omnia Lite.

With the launch these two mobile phones, Samsung's Touch portfolio now boasts of 23 models across multiple price points.

Samsung Champ C3303 is positioned as a touch screen phone with music features. It has a 3.5mm ear jack and dual speakers as well as Sound Alive 3D feature for enhanced audio experience. It also has wireless FM radio and comes with 30 MB internal memory that can be expanded up to 8 GB. It h as a 2.4... QVGA touch screen, three page extended menu, touchwiz lite 2.0 and the stylus pen for handy touch experience. It allows users to customize up to seven pages on home screen. The handset supports Bluetooth 2.1 and USB 2.0. Other features include VGA camera and image editor, advanced Mobile tracker, SOS message. The handset has 1000 phonebook and 500 SMS memory and a 1000 mAh memory which offers 12 hours of talk time. The gadget is priced at Rs 4500 

Samsung Omnia Lite B7300 is an all-in-one Windows 6.5 Pro based touch screen phone. It targets the business class and has features such as MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint slides, pdf files, MS Exchange Server Push e-mail with Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Note Traveler support automatic email updates. The MS Active Sync facilitates a seamless sync between the PC and mobile while the Windows Open OS comes in handy for the App Store ecosystem. It comes with 250 MB internal memory that is expandable to 32 GB while the 1500 mAH battery provides talktime upto 10 hours. The handset is priced at Rs17,560.
