Tata Teleservices launches FM integrated cordless phone
MUMBAI: Tata Teleservices has launched the first ever cordless phone with in-built FM stereo in the country, titled Tata Walky FM.
The stylish phone has been fashioned to suit the tastes of both post-paid and pre-paid subscribers. Integrated with FM stereo, the phone will allow users to also engage in long conversations effortlessly. The wireless device complete with FM stereo sound should enable users to enjoy music to the hilt.

The phone comes with two enthusing plans under the �Come Home to Tata' (CHT) offer. This offer blends the CHT Zero Rental and CHT 99 plans that give users the advantages of no rental along with superior calling rates. The CHT Zero permits users to benefit from zero rentals for the first 12 months. At a minimal rent of Rs. 99, the CHT 99 plan on the other hand offers users low call rates. Tata-to-Tata calls under this plan are delivered at 30 paise per minute while other local calls will cost 40 paise per minute. 50 paise per minute is the call rate for STD calls.
Other than FM, the phone also boasts of attributes like speaker phone, a large LCD screen and the time and temperature display. It additionally sports a large phone book (300 x 5 entries) and 32 polyphonic ring tones.
The cordless phone is available at a price of Rs 1,499 and Rs 1,699 for post-paid and pre-paid customers, respectively.
